DoorDash created this fluffy propaganda report to score points with the Trump administration.

Just have a talk to the wonderful Healing and CPTSD community about the endocannabinoid system and medical cannabis. There really needs to be more education in medical school about this vital system that supports homeostasis and works with so many other systems in our bodies.

Locked myself out of the house and had to borrow a neighbor's mud-covered ladder to crawl back in through a window. That was WAY more of a work-out than I was planning for today. My big, tough-guy dog slept through it. And now I look like Sofia Isella when she does the dirt-covered look on stage 😵‍💫

Went back to the office for the first time since March 2020 and wow, do I feel like a lab rat with all the passkeys, elevator security, figuring out the water dispenser. Great view of the city as always, but I do not miss in-office corporate life *at all*.

I run paid media and was contacted by someone from Quora to see if we wanted to run ads there. Kind of even forgot it still existed, so I logged in to see what it's like. I realize this just may be a troll, but I used to work in diabetes research and have met people like this. Like, fucking yikes.

"Cut a stout blackthorn to banish ghosts and goblins..." Or to banish my own internal ableism. For decades, I used to power walk all over Boston. No longer. I'm settling into slowing down, but this inner voice keeps telling me that I'm wasting time, to hurry up, there's so much to do.

Preparing a new webinar on the endocannabinoid system and medical cannabis for CPTSD and chronic conditions. It's been ages since I've been able to relax in this space on our back porch. 😌

LOL, please don't stare directly into the sun like Casey Means suggests, and also, buy her book!

New neighbors looking for that dog who ran through the blueberry bushes and scared them.

We have a lot of blueberries growing by the side of the house this year. Pie bird is going to be busy.

Anvil-headed dog *might* have heard a fly. Ready to flee at the first sight of tiny wings.

Batch 1, and I just bought a new cast iron pie plate for the occasion. Working on a recipe with fresh ginger root, lemon zest, a dash of bourbon-barrel-aged maple syrup, and a sprinkling of Aleppo pepper.

I love my raven skull cane! I was watching some videos about Irish stick fighting (bataireacht) on YouTube. The videos went over some basics, like how to hold and hit. Didn't have to spin, but then again, I haven't done much in terms of practicing. Would love to learn more though.

Post yourself from another era.

1987, senior year in West Berlin. With my clunky old Walkman that was held together with duct tape and paperclips.

The other thing that blew my mind was the connection between using a TENS unit to manage chronic pain and heart rate variability, which is notoriously out-of-sync in people with CPTSD. Didn't expect this result, and am curious to look into it further. This is so cool, @bearable-jesse.bsky.social!

Bear with me while I nerd out about my symptom tracker a bit more: it's clearly showing the connection between how masking, avoidance, and other factors in my neurodivergent life increase fatigue, difficulty concentrating, and pain levels. I had a feeling this was the case, but to see the data... 🤩
