No idea, but thank you for doing your civic duty in passing word on to those of us who are always looking for something new to watch while working in the spreadsheet mines.

Earlier this year they lost a parcel I was expecting, that they just needed to drop off at one of *their own collection points*. Which, it turns out, was the same one they picked it up from! Had to get a refund from eBay because even THEY don't have a way to speak to a human at Evri's cust. service.

Yeah, the style has converged to the point that, if you told me half of them were all painted by the same guy I'd believe you. And while the painting skill on display is extremely high, I struggle to remember more than 1 or 2 entries once I'm done looking at them, and few I remember from past years.

Reading books the way wrestlers watch TV screens backstage:

I remember borrowing books 2 and 3 of the Hunger Games from the library at the same time once. I couldn't remember which was book 2 so I checked the back of one of them and it started with "Having survived a second Hunger Games..."
Oh. Guess I know what's gonna happen in Book 2 then.

(2/2) The heads are a tiny bit big if you look closely, and as you can see I had to build them little sprue "necks", but all but the longest spears and largest shields work; just clip off the Warlord hand and glue on a Victrix one.

I get that same game's ads but it's always generic looking anime girls or a D&D dragon person. I guess "anything you wish" does technically also include... elderly businessmen?

There's another one, the Twaenhyr, that's even closer. I've only seen pics and I don't know if it'll ever make it to plastic, but it looks easy to kitbash! A lot of the Tractors seem to have callbacks to weird old tanks like these, it rules.

Background once again from a John Hodgson backdrop book, the webbing was made from some Halloween novelty broomstick ends, some of the "spooky netting" they also seem to always sell this time of year too, and some Woodland Scenics forest blend clump foliage.

Quar drive these goofy looking tanks called Tractors of various kinds, I could see a crew of rhyflers pootling around in one of those!

Yes, publicly trash talk the publisher they're working for, something that always ends well for game studios.

I hear it's possible to reprogram the voice chips, too, with the right software?

Thanks! They're from @wargamesatlantic.bsky.social with some 40k bits added on (they come with *some* sci fi bits but they're mainly a fantasy kit. Just a heads up though, they're a bit bigger than regular Stargrave minis, since they're also built to double up as cavalry for their goblins!

OMG, it's that guy from that show I listen to! On that other show I listen to!

Wild to see an AI that *doesn't* want me to use it as much as possible.

[SKRONCH, SKRUNCH]
Does the flock underneath hold up alright from having loose pebbles swept across it? I've always avoided loose scatter because I was convinced it would scratch the grass off underneath.

It's what comes of YT treating videos as just billboards to run ads on and creators as outsourced billboard-makers. In the short term I'm worried that YT will see it as a *good* thing (more vids = more ad spots) and by the time they realise it hurts them too the damage is done.

You missed a trick by not giving that one a slight markup as the one you RISKED LIFE AND DEATH for.

Unfortunately "remembering your preference RE: storing cookies on your computer" requires it to... store a cookie on your computer, AFAIK
