It's accurate in the sense of it's how many people have an "I follow willow" record on their profile. It's not the number of people who have an "I follow willow" record and you do not have an "willow blocks user123" record which is what you want.

Most iPhones have dual eSIMs built in so it's pretty easy to have two lines. I'm sure lots of android phones have the same thing. You can even have them on separate carriers so it's less likely you get stuck with no coverage
