I fell ill and didn't work for 3 years.....I didn't claim....used up my meagre savings....and now don't qualify for anything as I didn't pay enough N.I in those three years. When the PIP law changes that's it for me.

Yeah .... unfortunately I can't afford any gigs for this/next year. Haven't worked for 3 years and surviving on PiP.

When I was younger my Sister worked at the Bank of England. One of the perks was you stand on roof to watch the Pomp and Ceremony of the Lord Mayors Parade. I met a man whose job was to incinerate old bank notes, in the days of a 'cash' wagepacket. That is how working in retail must feel today.

The average farm size in the UK is 82 hectares, or about 204 acres. However, the size of farms varies widely, with almost half of all farms being less than 20 hectares. If a farm is above average size I think it's fair to call it a "Big Farm" These figures aren't mine. They are from the NFU
