Hence the reason I’m no longer over there

Now if only we could stop giving up goals right after scoring.

Just an abysmal call

I think there’s also a bias coming into play with this too that they think they can simply keep drafting and developing these guys for cheaper than signing them because it’s been working for so long now.
November 17, 2025 at 1:32 AM
I mean sure part of that is the case but continuing to do the same thing and rest on laurels has allowed the rest of the AFC to not only catch up but pass us. No matter how we cut it it’s time for a hige shake up throughout the org.

I watch GMs like in Detroit and the Rams and Philly just keep making great move after great move and San Fran too and yet we’re stuck trading water with the same “oh we’ve got Pat, he can figure it out” mindset. There has to be a lot of turnover this year or we’re gonna cede another year to Denver.

Fire Veach, the special teams coordinator, Nagy, cut Butker, make some trades to liven up the roster. It’s time for an entire remake outside of Mahomes, Reid, and Spags and a handful of others.
November 17, 2025 at 12:59 AM
Not sure that’s entirely true.
November 17, 2025 at 12:56 AM
No. We’re done. It was done as soon we screwed up the game in Jacksonville honestly. Every team were tied with or in a battle with has the tiebreaker and there’s still Houston to play
November 17, 2025 at 12:51 AM
Brett Veach has willfully let things get long in the tooth all over the place and just hopes Mahomes can figure it out.

The gap in WAR between Judge and the next closest Yankees hitter is bigger than Raleigh and the next closest Mariners hitter.

The gaps between Judge and Raleigh in OPS+, AVG, and OBP were simply too much for Raleigh to overcome as well.

Ohtani pitched 47 innings over the last 2 years combined so yeah he's a DH, plus Schwarber finished 2nd in the NL playing 13 total games in the OF the last 2 years combined. Defense doesn't matter.

Look at every catcher to win MVP (13), none hit less than .270 and he'd be 7th in OPS & 5th in WAR
November 14, 2025 at 5:03 PM
Neither payroll nor defense matters when LAD's DH won in the NL. 3rd, Judge had a 10.1 fWAR, the next closest on NYY was sub-5. Raleigh was great & it was close but the diff between him & JRod in fWAR wasn't as great, let alone SEA's pitching staff was better all year. Judge's import was higher.

There is no honest way you can believe that. He was quite simply the best hitter in baseball again and carried a team for basically an entire season. Not sure how those two things don’t add up to MVP

Screwed with our pants on 5 days after a resounding election night. Completely out touch senators who should be primaried heavily.

He’s not made a serious midseason acquisition in any of the last 2 couple of seasons aside from lucking into Hunt somewhat. The one main issue from last year, the O-line, still hasn’t been fixed and it’s showing again w/ 0 running game. He’s getting lapped now by his main competitors.
