Yeah, it's like shouting into a cave. Wanted this to work, but it really hasn't at the moment. Can't quite understand why. I inadvertently tweeted on there today thinking it was this, and had more replies than I've ever had on here. I still look now and again, but it's horrible

I managed to get my daughter to watch "it's a wonderful Life" which sure thought was cute but not Christmassy enough. She did like it though.

Planes, Trains and Automobiles is a classic, but most others are awful. They probably were at the time though, but I didn't realise it. Action films were stunning though. I grew up watching Raiders, Empire, and Top Gun.

It was then that I moved north to Holmfirth. My son was born, and when he started school, his school was offering tickets to see Huddersfield Town. I started taking him more regularly. Then the centenary season came. £100 season ticket was too good to miss even for a shift worker.

Oddly enough against Newcastle. It was 1988, and they were riding the crest of a wave, fresh from FA cup victory a year earlier. I stuck with Coventry for a while, and when I started work at just 16, followed them. It never felt like home though.
When they left Highfield Road, I stopped following.
