We hope to see these young people engage in politics to ensure their growing numbers are represented + their voices are heard.

The majority of young secular adults in the U.S. identify their religious affiliation as “nothing in particular”.
#Secular folks are an increasingly huge percentage of the U.S. population and deserve to be represented in local, state, and federal elections and policies that reflect our values (values, keep in mind, that are shared by many folks who *are* religious).

Though, historically, there has been a pervasive statistic that the majority of secular folks are men, the gender breakdown is much more balanced now than in previous decades.
While 50% of U.S. #secular adults identify as men, 48% identify as women, and 2% identify as transgender and/or nonbinary.

In the 2024 election, 71% of #secular folks voted #Democrat + 27% voted Republican. As the largest religious demographic, it’s past time for politicians to take us for granted.
