I just saw an episode of Supermarket Sweep where two women won $52,000. One of them shouted, "I can get my Masters!". Think about that. Our country is so great that a woman went on a game show to pay for her schooling.

It's absolutely wild that a group of people who believe in a talking snake, demons, witches, angels, etc., use the word "discerning" to refer to themselves more than any other group.

Genuine question: if you really believe that God healed you when you were severely injured or terminally ill, why did you agree to pay the hospital bills? I definitely wouldn't pay a mechanic for fixing my car if I knew that they didn't do anything.

I truly respect those of you (especially women) who left religions without switching to another one. More often than not, people perceive something as good just because it's less toxic than what they experienced before.
