It’s frustrating listening to reasonable people try to frame this as if Kirk was interested in “debate”. He wasn’t. No one should be shot for speaking. But, let’s not pretend he was a reasonable person. He was a racist demagogue. It is *not* a crime to be a racist, but it’s what he was.
