I think one of the themes of the cinematic year 2024 was shameless, self-loving stupidity, with CHALLENGERS, LOVE LIES BLEEDING, THE SUBSTANCE and TRAP all flying that flag to different extents. I love it, all hail exploring interesting affects and relations within the broad realm of stupidity

SCMS put me dead last this time around which surely won't be great for attendance BUT they were definitely speaking my love languages in terms of what they paired me with– Ti West? Cannibalism? These are great things
