Nice varied haul of CDs from the charity shop today - it's been a little empty lately, but seems that we're finally getting into "spring cleaning so throwing out CDs" season

In the two years I lived in Kingston I saw hundreds of bands play in The Peel, The Fighting Cocks and the Hippodrome with a @banquetrecords.com banner behind them. I never thought I'd get to see the Manics do that. An incredible show

I've been putting this one off for a little while - the last time I'll hear a Jason Molina album for the first time. Feeling quite emotional about it

Found these Therapy? singles in the charity shop yesterday - Loose still has the tour dates card but more amazingly the Die Laughing cd still laughs. I miss b-sides being a thing.

Look what arrived a day early @hiddenmothers.bsky.social Very excited to play this - I remember hearing The Longest Journey Yet early in the pandemic and hoping they'd release an album someday. Tomorrow is that day!

If I'd known being 40 meant spending a Friday evening listening to metal and building Lego I'd have been far less worried about it. So far being 40 is pretty amazing.
