Serious question: Is there a term for the opposite of a nightmare? Because I had a dream where everything was so saccharine and joyful that I was ejected out of it and woke up with the adrenaline rush akin to waking from a nightmare. It was like the end of How the Grinch Stole Christmas on steroids.

Been watching Pop Culture Jeopardy and I'm pretty sure that like half of the teams in the tournament are thrupples 😄

Finally saw Gremlins 2 this Christmas and... I think years of it being hyped to me and pop culture osmosis put... I guess higher expectations into my head. Also I think that postmodern meta narratives are more mainstream now, & can appreciate how 30 years ago that storytelling felt more novel.

While I think that the first Sonic movie didn't work in a lot of ways, I thought Sonic 3 was a very good adaptation. I've enjoyed watching this series improve with each iteration, like a TV show hitting its stride after a bad pilot (which used to be very common in the era before streaming).
