One of the main benefits of a journal is the ability to—with space and objectivity—look back and who you were and how you felt at any given time. I miss my earlier posts, but my brain doesn’t have enough ATP to make cogent stuff daily. So for now, I’m resharing my (likely) relatable illustrations!

Sometimes I wear perfume to feel like a badass—sometimes I wear a perfume to feel comforted. I wear this when I need both: when I need to feel like I was hugged by a 60-year -old fabulous corporate mentor before walking into the boardroom. The amberiest amber, plum, patchouli, pine. Have you tried?

January 27: this post was precipitated by a random spritz of Hæc Dies—perhaps one of the only @filippo_sorcinelli’s I’ve smelled that gives 🎀coquette🎀. I both love a baby doll head scent and also find them a little overwhelming (maybe it’s too much nostalgia, maybe it’s the sweet powdery florals!).
