It all fits. I've started saddling the seat but I'm doing with no pommel. Trying to decide how to shape the crest and if I want to add an under bevel to the seat as well.

For those keeping track of the bench build. It's coming along. Next up: cruber on the feet, breaking edges, removing pencil marks, Tried and True Danish oil. I'm keeping the tool well a work in progress as I don't know what I want yet. Same with the rest of the dog holes.

Another step along I'm rehabbing this 1983 Inca tablesaw. Had some help getting these bearings out of the slider. The new bearings don't fit, so we're cleaning the old ones. #woodworking

She works. Still have to make the new vise chop and a bunch of finishing touches. But at least I can plane and chisel on it. #woodworking

We got dogholes. Do I need more? Maybe. Let's get these vises in first though.

Making progress and mistakes at the same time. The top is blind pegged and I drilled too deep. So I either need to go buy a 1/2" plug cutter or make this hole a square and cut a patch. #woodworking

If you've been following my bench build it's getting closer. Leg assemblies are glued up and the top is at final dimension. Next: cross dowels in the long stretchers, blind peg the top, mount the vises, attach the aprons, drill dog holes, tool well, lower shelf #woodworking

I didn't use all the clamps I had laid out. But I still like being prepped for a glue up. Mental note: make more bowed cauls. #woodworking

We're making progress people. Leg blanks glued up and staves for the top laminations are cut. Letting all the sit overnight and then jointing/gluing up the top laminations tomorrow. Maybe even breaking down the stretchers and aprons.

Materials aquired. I really hope it's not going to take too long to tuneup my jointer and bandsaw. I'd like to keep some momentum through the laminations. #woodworking

Well, at $5.10/BF looks like I'm building this apartment workbench from Euro Beech. 4' long 2" thick split top with a 6" apron. 3x3" for the legs and trestles #woodworking #wood

Been hiding out on Vancouver Island in BC for a few days. A little hygge to blunt reality.
