The Sauce Stash

I like sauce. I've got a stash of it. This is where I review it, mostly so I can go back and remember the good ones
sometimes, when you can't find any sauce hot enough, you have to grow your own. I call this one "The Sicilian Sunset", made with carrots+tomatoes+scorpions+roxies (all from my garden).

Had to pull this one from the bin since I discovered I hadn't documented it--which would have been a travesty.

there's _"hot sauce"_, and then there's _hot_ "sauce". identifying which one it is _before_ you buy is definitely an art. this Deep Trouble fermented sauce from muti is definitely the latter, but that just means you can smear more on your eggs without feeling guilty

[1/2] breakfast tacos ain't breakfast tacos without Thicc Sauce. to quote the label (that I'm just reading as I finish the bottle): "this is the ultimate fresh taco sauce."

[1/2] oh so you _do_ want something with a garlic kick, do you? look no further than Dawson's "cedar smoked garlic" hot sauce. made with habaneros, garlic, and just a touch of sumac, this stuff will keep the vampires away (and improve your lunch while you're at it).

[1/2] if you had to guess one word for the flavour profile of this sauce (the _Vampire Slayer_ from *The Garlic Farm*), what would you guess? "garlicy", right?

... in which case you'd be wrong.

[1/2] Got this bottle of Vrabasco on a trip to France, because eggs in the morning without hot sauce is immoral

It's basically like Tabasco (all that vinegary goodness, low heat, perfectly liquid) but with a punch of smoke. Goes great in soups (esp cauli-potato or chilli).
