I took the 4yo to see Zootopia 2. Now we’re home and as you can see she’s the kitten whisperer. She understands better than her older sister that you have to wait quietly for the kittens to come to you.

1/2 Story time. We went to the shelter to get Teddy and his sister. We hadn’t met them before. The shelter said they got along fine but weren’t bonded so we didn’t have to take them together. Shelter opened at noon. We arrived at 12:05. A young woman had already claimed Teddy’s sister.

His name is Boo Radley Rector. He is actually a gray and white tabby even if this picture makes him look gold. It turns out he is not actually a scaredy-cat. He and Teddy have been play play play all day. Boo does like to hide and jump out to scare Teddy.

This post is called Love at First Sight. Everyone took real well to each other. However I only let them stay 30 minutes because they completely wore out Teddy. As soon as they left, he plopped down and slept for 2 hours straight.

1/? Weighing 2.5lbs at 2 months, 3 weeks old (born 1 day after Teddy and not littermates) introducing this precious baby we are still working on a name for. This guy is super sweet and loves to be held. Unlike Teddy, this boy purrs like an engine. However, he is overwhelmed with the transition and

But what if we did end up getting a boy kittie and a girl kittie? Opinions/thoughts/suggestions on names? Also I’ve only ever had boy pets because the anecdotal evidence is that boy cats are more snuggly and relational than girl cats. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Still the best purchase I’ve ever made re: kids. I wasn’t able to afford it when my oldest grand was 9 months old. I just got him the green plastic turtle. Bought this 3 years ago. Our house is only 1100 sf. Today the 4yo, 5.5yo, and 7.5yo played in it for 3 hours.
