The story of Fred and “taunting death” comes from a most tragic timeline:

Years of war and white phosphorus led to the scared black landscape. Prisoners were used in place of soldiers, some being born into the prison system never knowing freedom.

“X marks the spot” Fred chuckled to himself.

Wanted a piece that would showcase the results of constant war.

Only the dead know the end of war. Leaving only the hollow monoliths of death.

The young ones ruthlessly hunted the elders until every last adult responsible for destroying their future was “retired” by the child mercenaries driven by a desire to regain control of their future and create a world built on kindness, love and compassion.

After decades of selfish neglect and exploitation by adults at the expense of even their own children. The young ones knew their elders would never fight for a better future. At that point, they decided to seize control and ruthlessly exterminate all the adults in an effort to save what was left.

It’s a perfect time to revisit this early work of mine.

The Children of Dystopia.

In a not to distant future, children realized adults did not care about their future, they only cared for their own selfish desires. So children decided to hunt adults mercilessly in order to reclaim their future.
