His motives have been stated, he’s against the use of AI in movies. The most you can say is that he’s two-faced and has inconsistent morals, not that he WILL use AI in his movies.

He’s on the board for an AI company, that much is certain. But that doesn’t mean he’s alright with the use of AI in his movies. More likely he’s using this to get more money. It’s spineless, but we can’t manipulate facts to suit an agenda.
