I loved The Brutalist as a film, but interviews (and guys) like this drive me nuts. The truth is, if you can’t afford living wages and sane hours, then you can’t *really* afford to make your movie.

I’ve been mostly off social media lately, but thought it was worth posting a little personal year in review. Maybe not the most productive 2024 under the sun, but felt like a big one for me. He’s to bigger and better for us all in the year ahead.

Caught an advance screening of Nosferatu last night. If there was any doubt, Robert Eggers solidifies his spot on the modern horror Mount Rushmore with this one. A modern gothic masterpiece. Impeccable craft from every department, some swing-for-the-fences performances, and it’s Christmas horror!
