I think I got what happened, I forgot that I should pronounce "や" more like "ia" but faster (in my case), and with, for example, "し", that made it sound more like "shiia", thank you for giving a response :)

I've seen that "や" has (at least) two pronunciations (I think) in different words or used alone, can you tell me how it changes, please?
