I wonder if Eram comes from Asriel similar to how the Roaring Knight comes from Dess? They’re both sinister shadowy individuals from the Hometown’s shelter who resemble a certain townsperson… Except, Asriel’s away at college. So maybe Eram is a dark reflection of Asriel like how Ralsei is?

If you don’t fight her, her eye would be fine back in the Light World but she’d keep the Shadow Crystal / Glass shard. Perhaps in the Weird Route, you’d use Toriel’s fire magic to incinerate Undyne, leaving nothing but a pile of ashes in the Light World.

After returning to the Light World, Undyne would comment on her eye hurting and not working right. She rationalizes that she must have hit her head and had a strange dream so she doesn’t have to think about what the man in the alley told her.

She meets up with your party, but can’t get the things that man said out of her head. Not thinking straight, she runs off. If you try to follow her, she lashes out with power she didn’t know she had.
You’d probably get her pen as a weapon or her badge as armor for defeating her.

Oh I do think Undyne would be involved if the green soul mode is reused, like how the yellow soul mode was used when fighting Spamton using Mettaton’s Neo body. The green crayon being mentioned specifically just reinforced the idea to me :P
