Ha! I figured you for Wales. You and Hamilton. Thanks, as always, for your involvement in support of Ukraine. I just had to fell 3x 70ft Madrones. Hated to do it. I fell Firs every week, thinning the forest, but I go to great lengths to avoid hitting madrones. I did mill them. Awesome wood.

Maybe "dependent on US components"? I worked on some of the F35 electronic components and they were designed in the US, with US processes, US design tools, in US fabs. I don't see those being transferred out of the US.

Krushchev was looking in a mirror. My premise is that Russia will experience economic collapse. That will spell the end for the war. The economically depressed and potentially freezing, populace, combined with the returning military, will create chaos resulting in the fall of the regime.

I watched it in the theater, with some work mates. We were then involved in the US SDI program (Reagan's "Star Wars"). I recall us commenting that we were glad we did not have the widespread tech to make this happen, at the time. We sure do now... and Trump wants complete control.
