TFG’s slow, methodical recruitment approach may certainly result in a much improved squad by the end of the window. But it’s ultimately their job to prove it, not your job to blindly espouse faith. I hope for the best and hope they get it right. Proof will be in signings. #EFC

You’re forgiven, Chad! Also, Rodger translated my rant into an eloquent summary of my case against Keane. It’s not the end of the world, I’ll get over it. Just don’t like giving more money to bad players when you don’t absolutely have to.

I mean, it’s ok to be depressed when your team loses at this stage. But certainly it’s got to come with a healthy dose of big picture perspective, absolutely. But man, we’re a great team about to get G7 of The FINALS at our place. I’d say that’s a helluva good thing in the grand scheme.

I feel that. To put a finer point on it, yesterday was my 46th birthday. Less than ideal! But the older I get, the less strength I have to go full doom. If this team falls short, it’ll be because they just weren’t ready. It’ll hurt but it won’t change my optimism about the future. Clinging to that.

Like, I get it. It hurts to lose like that. But the whole reason G5 was so pivotal was to guarantee us THIS opportunity to play in a place where we’ve been historically great. Of course we can lose, but I just can’t get into the doom and gloom.

We were badass all season just so we could play a game 7 of the Finals at home. Man, if you can’t get behind this team in THAT arena in this situation, I don’t know what to tell ya.
