Then you can just make some basic triads by skipping one note in the scale and find what sounds good. You could make like 1 - 3 - 5 or you could do like 2 - 4 - 6 or you could add an extra one or two gap at the bottom to invert ex: 1 - 4 - 6 which is really a 4-6-8 inverted

honestly imo you dont need to pay for anything. I think there are easier ways especially if you have certain daws but you can always do the tried and true of constructing a scale by using piano roll to fill in all the white keys of one octave for either C for major or A and transpose
