I should have clarified: I bake em after this quick boil. It's fun; give it a shot. We need to doomsday-prep for the fall of shopping malls, when pretzels won't be widely available anymore ^_^

You referring to my prior video post, I'm not frying stuff! I am boiling each guy to get the outer shell to do its pretzel thing instead of a dinner roll thing. There's room for improvement here but my current ratio is 1/3 cup (75ml) baking soda, 2000ml water, 3tbsp (75ml) honey. 30 seconds each.

I gotta Google the intent behind malt powder. My forays into baking are very narrow and aggressive. Give me all your pretzel lore. I wanna make em Sak style.
