I’ve only seen them pop up in the last two years in a few upper middle class suburbs around here. Maybe they’d be in Woodbury or Eden Prairie? But they’re very mysterious to me.

…And also one of these purses. I don’t know where they came from, or how gained popularity, or why every mom in the Detroit suburbs owns one; I just know that they’re devastatingly ugly and if you drive a minivan, you also have a woven-strap leather purse, or at least a pretty convincing knockoff.
