It is Nintendo in its finest form. It innovates on the 3D platforming genre meaningfully with voxel tech while honouring every era of Donkey Kong — from the arcade to Rare Ware to Retro Studios.

Crazy to think that 10 years ago today I was seated for Xbox’s E3 2015 press conference.

DOOM: The Dark Ages is the most fun I’ve had with a shooter in a long time.
It’s in-your-face, brutal and reminiscent of an era in gaming when you didn’t need much more than a weapon, an enemy and a direction to rip and tear through.
This is one hell of a video game.
