Watched this (all five hours of it) several months ago for the first time.
A superlative piece of film craft by Abel Gance.
Amazing to realize that this innovative and inventive film is nearly a hundred years old.
I recommend the Blu Ray restored version to anyone interested in early/silent cinema.
