That's what I'm thinking. There's a huge library of stuff I'd love to play, but my Surface Pro sounds like a teakettle and feels like it's going to melt when it runs anything vaguely taxing.

The floor for total backers on a single project was also much lower - I think for '24, the lowest single project backer count was 391, and this year it was under 200.

That shit's crazy. I'm a relative neophyte to commissioning art and publishing, but is this (the screenshot) really arguing that one needs to own the copyright to publish a book including commissioned art? For what reason would you need to disallow an artist to reference their own work?

I primarily have used the companion app for my sessions (pretty much all online for my TTRPG group), and I'm constantly impressed with it. Seems like it improves each time I come back to it.
