I like this one in Fordham: Jesus has made a boat!
(Glass by Celtic Studios, 1984)

Yesterday's #StainedGlass fun was seeing Heaton and Butler's first window (allegedly) before they were joined by Bayne. Glass in Hawstead, Suffolk.
Stained glass window depicting Jesus ascending into heaven. Jesus is in mid air while eleven disciples and (possibly) Mary his mother watch. The background has some rather fanciful trees, and in the top of the window are lots of angels.

At the end of the 1995 adaptation of Pride and Prejudice (excellent though it is in every respect!) the final wedding scene takes place with a Kempe #StainedGlass window in the background. The novel is set during the Napoleonic Wars and Kempe only started making windows in 1865.

For today's #lectionary feast of the Baptism of Christ, this #StainedGlass panel is in Oakington parish church, Cambridgeshire. I'd love to know who made it, but I haven't been able to track it down yet. If anyone has any clues, I'd be very grateful!

Today's is St. Nicholas' day ( #Lectionary ) Here's a #StainedGlass window depicting him, and parts of his legend, in Landwade church, near Newmarket, by Francis Spear (1966).

Saint Catherine of Alexandria is today's #lectionary saint. This #StainedGlass is by William Morris & Co of Westminster (the other one!) in Litlington, Cambridgeshire.

Cecilia, patron of music and musicians, is today's #lectionary saint. Here she is commemorated in #StainedGlass in Waltham Abbey Church (Holy Cross & St. Lawrence, if you're being picky). Glass by G.E.R. Smith (1947)

Today the church remembers Elizabeth of Hungary #lectionary. Here she is depicted in #StainedGlass in St. Mildred's church in Whippingham on the Isle of Wight - glass probably by Hardman.

On the Feast of Saint Luke the Evangelist, here's some #StainedGlass in St. Margaret's parish church, Leiston Suffolk, by Margaret Edith 'Tor' Rope (1959). #lectionary
