That’s why we have reissued a joint letter to Emma Reynolds, reflecting the support of 40 businesses, NGOs and networks, for policies put forward in the #RepairReuseDeclaration.

We don't believe that the end of Windows 10 should mean the end of life for hundreds of millions of computers 💻️😵

So we've put together a guide for repair groups to support people in your community. Why not celebrate #RepairDay by holding an event to save these laptops from landfill? 🪛🧰

We topped last year with over 35 MPs and staffers in attendance. The true joy was connecting them with over 25 representatives from community repair groups and networks across the UK.

This sharing of knowledge and experience is invaluable to our campaigning work and making real change.

We were delighted to be able to offer MPs and staffers a peek into the runnings of a community repair event by having our amazing volunteers performing repairs on the day 🪛🧰
June 17, 2025 at 10:36 AM
We were also joined by Baroness Parminter who kindly sponsored the event and @thejeremyvine.bsky.social, who told the all too familiar story of an item that wasn’t repairable - less than 3 year old Segway.

Luckily, it was taken home by an attendee who offered to give repairing it one last go 🤞
