We all know the phrase "If you love something..." Well... I set you free. Now, only time will tell if you come back so I can keep and love you forever.

I know you're not the one for me. I know it wouldn't work out between us. At least, that's what I keep telling myself. If you're not the one... then why does it hurt so much to see you go? You're so perfect for someone like me. I wish things were different. I wish I was perfect for you.

Even though it would end the same. With you needing to leave. I still want to go back and do things differently. Even if it only gets me one extra day with you. I'd do it in a heartbeat.

I still remember the way you felt on my skin. The way your fingers lightly danced in little circles around my knee. As gentle as petting a sleeping cat. The way you left sparks that traveled up my body and ignited fireworks in my chest. I think I'll keep replying it, until I see you again.

I just want to scream into the sky that I need your body against mine with your arms wrapped tightly around me. Telling me how much you missed me.
