while i agree with your sentiment, looking at these genres from a historical context shows the progression from choose-your-own-adventure books to tabletop rpg campaign to computer adventure rpg. like early computer rpgs were just cyoa books but on the computer, some early games have no visuals

oh my GOD i love pikmin so much. it has so much replayability and some skips are super easy and kinda natural to find/do. i think the 30 day limit is a cool concept to "pressure" the player, even if most will beat it in 8-15 days.

gcn is the best personally, but the switch and wii ports are awesome
