What are some things you do or something you like that your store does to promote Standard play *and* retaining Standard participation?

The best part? The last year where I hoarded all my resources and production and did an end-of-year dump for a total of 11 million+ gold in a single sale.

The worst part? Prairie King was challenging and frustrating, but admittedly very satisfactory upon beating it without dying.

Knowing what I know now? I'd love to give original Innistrad a try. That was my intro to Magic, buying random packs and playing kitchen table casual. Would love to have experienced the limited format!
