Up until the point where the creative accounting is stretched to thin and people realize that these projects are never going to even return $1 trillion on investment. Wish we had invested in solar instead.

Don't put yourself down like that. It took me years to realize that a perpetual motion machine wouldn't work (and also that I was trying to design a perpetual motion machine).

Which isn't to say that wind turbines are bad. But in order to be useful they require a natural source of wind to provide free energy. Cars are not that. 6/6
November 20, 2025 at 4:03 PM
This is why you don't see generator turbines on cars or other powered vehicles. The energy pushing the turbine comes from the engine of the vehicle, and if you need electricity from your engine, there are more efficient ways to get electricity from an engine than a wind turbine. 5/6

It would be kind of like trying to generate electrical power by using an electric fan to blow air at a generator turbine. Yes, the turbine will generate electricity, but you'll spend more electricity turning on the fan than the turbine will ever generate. 4/6
November 20, 2025 at 4:03 PM
This would be in addition to the energy needed to make the car move without the turbine, and each step of this process results in some energy being lost. 3/6
November 20, 2025 at 4:03 PM
The turbine would be driven by the force of the air passing the car as the car moves. That force is generated by the motion of the car, which generated by the car's engine. In other words, you would be transferring energy from the battery, to the engine, to the car's motion, then to the turbine. 2/6
November 20, 2025 at 4:03 PM
Well, think about where that energy driving the turbine is actually coming from. Let's assume for a moment that there is no natural wind. 1/6

Not only do they not produce foul smelling exhaust, they are also much quieter, which is a nice perk especially for pedestrians and neighbors
November 20, 2025 at 2:49 PM
The energy lost to drag would be greater than the energy gained by the turbine.

That nice Mr Judge. Are you going to charge them with contempt of court now or are you a useless seat warmer?

Right like... "so you built a machine that inherently breaks the law. You're going to jail, and your machine is being confiscated and destroyed."

I'm hoping that artists sue these people into the ground for stealing their work.

But b your reasoning, since the gun is a tool, it’s worth using.

Some tools shouldn’t exist. Like male to male power cords

If I had a gun, and there was a 20% chance that if I fired it, I’d shoot myself, I’d melt down the gun for scrap. AI doesn’t provide a service that is worth using even if it was free, which it isn’t.

Which is sad.

Also, apologies for the atrocious spelling and grammar in my previous post. I should not have been posting politics from my phone at 1 AM.

Republicans are morons, and their leaders have been lying to them about the ACA for years. www.nbcnews.com/politics/fir... These people do no dilligence and are going to be harvested like sheep by the healthcare industry.

For being 'an expert' on political violence, this author seems to have a lot of blinders on with respect to the current US political climate.

barely get Democrats to send a strongly worded letter to judges as Trump sends the military into our streets.

things like "[Clinton] gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks. But the Second Amendment people, maybe there is." Republicans have twice elected a man who has been calling for lethal violence against Democrats for decades to be President, and nothing on the Democrats side compares. We can
