This is what happens when you automate “support services”.

Note that there is no facility for telling them *why* they rated a 2 out of 5. It was because I spent the better part of half an hour trying to figure out how to mark a comment as spam, with their “help”.

Current #knitting project. This slip stitch scarf pattern is from issue 25 of Noro. I wanted to use the same colours as they used but that yarn isn’t sold in the US, so I use a different Noro yarn, in pale green and blue.

Spent the last few days sick as all git out but no more fever and took up the offer from husband and BIL to have brunch up in #EstesPark at The Stanley. I’d never been past the front lobby by the restaurant and just discovered an adorable lobby with a fireplace. #Colorado

I was just reminded that I am reading a new book and wanted to share. It’s a #history of Viking Culture and it’s quite fascinating, as it discusses what the #Vikings believed, rather than the traditional view of the Catholic Church that we were taught in school.

Just finished reading “A Fever in the Heartland: The Ku Klux Klan's Plot to Take Over America, and the Woman Who Stopped Them” by Timothy Egan for a book group I’m in. As every other Egan book I’ve read, highly recommended.

Getting through news stress by knitting an alpaca silk cowl. When done, it will be 48” long and about 18” wide (enough to pull it up as a hood). Really easy, compared to my last scarf, which was houndstooth and time-consuming. This is just straight up KP and PK, alternating colours every two rows.

Feeling fortunate that Wally adopted Sally when she joined our family last year. We’ve had many cats over the years but these are the first two that snuggle regularly.
