His style for d20 is way more improve and comedy focused it would be much more fair to look at his style for EXU calamity to see how he’ll probably go about running campaign 4.

I thinks it’s not that people dislike Brennan as much as a vocal part of the crit role fandom has formed a frankly unhealthy parasocial relationship with the original 8 cast members. It’s why I fell out of the fandom 3 years ago and started listening to other TTRPG podcasts.

The new VAs are probably talented but holy shit do they feel generic as all hell, like why does Stelle sound so completely emotionless.

You can tell HSR just grabbed whoever was available and rushed them into recording all the lines ASAP for the release of 3.3.

I really liked the original mister tail and Huohuo voices and the replacements just don’t feel remotely similar in any way.

To call the builder a scammer for wanting to be fairly compensated for their work even after doki’s team reached out to a custom PC company that also quoted around the same price (which was actually 8.5k not 10k) is ridiculous.

Doki and her team messed up and now they want to shift the blame.

Just the parts for the PC cost £3.5k which is around $4.6k that’s not including shipping labour costs or the year+ of admin that the builder had to do. Doki’s team screwed up and vastly underestimated how much a custom PC would cost to have built with almost $5k of parts inside.

Her management created this problem by having a charity auction with items that hadn’t been made or paid for ahead of time, never gave the builder a budget to start working with over the 14 months of contact, used a different build to estimate the cost and misread the currency as $ instead of £.

Honestly I’d say this whole situation boils down to holo has been getting more strict with its rules because of the increasing eyes on them and some of the management might not be the nicest people. but that’s pretty normal for most companies in general.

Holo aren’t becoming a “black company” like they are some sort of loony toons villain it’s just a company that needs to make its shareholders happy and sometimes that means doing things that will piss of the vtubers that work for you.
