It also helps know how "everything is a 3" before when "everything was a 7" it never really was. I think the gap between 2 and the gap between 4 is a touch large, but it's definitely in the right direction.

I agree with bracket 3 being the new catch all, but in my meta before there was a hard time with newer players describing their decks and not knowing how much they've powered up their precons with new cards. I think knowing that an out of the box precon is 2 helps in knowing when it becomes a 3.

I like having precons known as bracket 2. Before I would make me think they were around a 5-6 and build or play towards that end. Giving something defined by WotC that says what the precons they are making are intended to be is helpful.

For me personally I'm leaning towards playing my decks at 4s because they're strong but I don't run game changers as often which technically makes them a 3. Although I'd rather have a game where I guess low instead of bringing too strong of a deck into a pod.
