I think many of the people who are “souring” on immigration are actually those in the Latino community that thought he was just going to deport the criminals. They are watching in real time good, decent people, with legal status get deported. It’s frightening and it’s changing their opinions.

Actually they knew. They liked all the bad things he said he would do to Black Americans and other minorities. They just didn’t think he would hurt them as well.

That’s why I haven’t said anything about Joy or Alex getting the ax. The interviews that Alex Wagner did with those Black Trump voters with absolutely no push back was horrific. Plus Joy Reid’s nightly bashing of the Biden administration over Palestine did not sit well with me.
