So long as the ideology of ‘destroy Israel’ continues to circulate, a 2 state solution won’t work. The change must come from Palestinians who truely want peace. For reference I’ve always supported a 2 state solution. Oct 7 made me realise they don’t want it yet

Settle down people. The Jews of Israel have been there for 3000 continuous years. When your grandmother arrived some 1400 years ago she was making za’atre right next door to my Jewish grandmothers. So just stop this nonsense of us and them. We all come from the same place.

Reading these posts makes me so sad. Too much us/them. There’s an attitude of ‘You’re either with us or against us’.
What happened to society?

I’ve blocked him. I won’t stoop to discussion about whether Oct 7 is inhumane. It just is. That’s my baseline. If you can’t condemn a massacre than there is something wrong with you. I thought this platform would be more balanced. People are people.

I think the rabbis would tell us that we have drifted too far from our roots and are paying the price. I am secular Jew, I married a non Jews, and lived my life dismissing the warnings of my community and family. They said ‘In every generation: בכל דור ודור we will be persecuted. They were right.

On my first day at blue sky I have encountered more antisemitism and more tired, old, untrue rhetoric such as ‘genocide’ than I ever did on Twitter. It’s so sad for me that you have all stuck your fingers in your ears and refuse to listen

You know perfectly well that israel has sent tonnes of aid trucks into Gaza and hamas keep looting them. It’s no secret but you keep pretending using horrible images of clinically sick children as propaganda to promote this false narrative of starvation. Just stop it already!!

No I think Oct 7 came out of centuries of hate towards my people my parents, grandparents and all my ancestors before me were persecuted for being Jewish by Arabs in the Middle East - Egypt Syria Lebanon all of them persecuted Jews

You are ridiculous. Last I spoke to my family in israel my cousin was fighting to save his life. His family and his country. He, along with every Israeli I know doesn’t want the war Gazans started. Right now he’s wishing Hamas gave back the hostages and stopped terrorising his friends and family.
