The very fact that you had to Snopes this comment for veracity tells me that he has made enough previous racist, misogynistic and hateful comments to even make people believe there was a chance this is real. Long and short of it: he sucks.

All I’m saying for those celebrating this ‘victory’ is that they DID NOT rule on the legitimacy of same sex marriage, simply on her right to refuse to issue them a marriage certificate. Don’t feel safe just yet… they’re still coming for gay marriage. Hold the line.

For nearly three decades, my impostor haunted me, despite multiple deployments and the salad dressing that adorns the rack. My ‘pay it forward’ is working with SMs and their families on their MH. To see that poser strip the community of those resources is sickening. Keep doing the go(o)d work!

But did you though, Laura? Did YOU literally work SO hard? What EXACTLY did you do to get where you’re at? Because I worked hard for my country… 16 hour days in Iraq and Afghanistan, getting shot at and rocketed, seeing my friends dying for our democracy. A democracy you’re helping to destroy.

You put in words what I found to be an empirical truth: most, but not all, combat veterans that I know, regardless of their state of healing from their experiences, are naturally liberal. They have seen how suffering impacts everyone, and loathe the idea of adding to suffering. They are protectors.

I’m not trying to change your mind… I just got tired of all the hate directed at people that have zero impact on a person’s everyday lives. and I never said ‘autism’ in conjunction with ‘acceptable.’ I said better at identifying. And it’s not a mental illness, it’s a developmental disorder.
