That movie was CRINGE. Spacey was doing some good stuff around that time. Thora Birch, too. But American Beauty came from a trite angle and finished with creepiness. That wasnt a good movie. I prefer Ghost World but that has some creepiness, too. But with Ghost World the creepiness was highlighted.
