I said higher floor. All QBs need time to adjust to the mental aspect of the game. But if your QB can scramble it gives him the ability to still make a play when he’s too afraid to pull the trigger on a throw.

I’m not saying just draft an athlete, but in today’s NFL your QB HAS to be mobile.

To me this is why taking a QB with limited physical tools is a no go going forward. The path to elite play for them is so narrow that if they aren’t perfect, it’s crushing.

Obviously physical tools will dwindle, but until that happens it gives QBs such a higher floor for production.
