Appreciate this won’t be popular with many, but firstly a lot more pensioners are now claiming UC so unaffected; secondly pensioners are £400 better off through triple lock; I would like to see how the 2.5m is calculated and what ‘need’ means. Allowance like this should be means tested.

With how big his wage is, I think United are being unrealistic to expect full wages AND a fee.
