as a young man in the 1930's, my dad worked aboard a yacht berthed next to Morgan's Corsair. when i was a Boy Scout, i once sold a box of petit fours to his elderly daughter.

growing up in Glen Cove, i dug sandworms with my dad on the bank of Morgan Creek, separates Morgan Island from Long Island's North Shore. we'd use the worms as bait to catch flounder in off the docks in Morgan Park, given in trust to the City in remembrance of his young wife.
