I know one thing that people are concerned with is children having to walk to school in the dark in the mornings with DST. Standard time would make that less of an issue I know for myself when I have early mornings it’s not so great when it’s 6 AM and dark.

I would be willing to try it. I think we should for a year.

Permanent DST appealed because I like more daylight after work, but I would be happy with standard time (ST) too if we adjust our work schedules accordingly to have more time in the evening. The biggest thing is getting rid of the time change. ST is better for our health according to studies I hear.
