i had some pretty decent expectations for this game given that i avoided everything up until release with only knowing that ryukishi07 wrote the game, and holy shit i'm so happy to see that this ended up being good. if anything i feel like i have to talk about the acting in this game, konatsu kato's performance as hinako is probably my favorite out of the games i've played this year (even though i haven't really played much of this years games) and i think i get why she was talking about her sanity slipping while playing her. the writing is amazing too which is what i hoped, im really interested in how ng+ continues the games story i'm super invested. i think the weakest part (but i dont really think its Bad, and also i played on action hard so i was kinda expecting this) is the combat, the system itself is fine but some encounters are just not fun and drag for way too long, theres a few enemies i flat out dont like as well. the boss fights are surprisingly good though i found them to be super interesting. the atmosphere and sound design are also tense as hell and genuinely scared the shit out of me at points and having to constantly look around for enemies and listening to whats near me added so much to my experience of the game, especially when things start to pick up later on in the game i was so scared of nearly everything. i'm not someone that usually gets like that with horror it was a good surprise to finally get something like that out of a horror game. the music is different from what im familiar with for the series but it works so well here and honestly makes some parts of the game scarier. i really want to say more but i dont wanna accidentally spoil anything so this is it for now until i play through the other endings. overall its really good so far and i'm incredibly happy with how this game turned out, no final score yet since im not fully done yet.

while waiting for oomf to get to the arcade yesterday i finally got to try en-eins anastasis, they have No reason to make it arcade only its sick as hell. i feel like i prefer abk to it but both are really fun, the visuals in ee are overstimulating but i kinda love it
