I hated this movie sadly. Like a lot of the horror stuff I don’t like, it’s void of any actual drama, just tropey satanist allusions with an endearing main character that ultimately doesn’t have an arc. It’s a shame because I thought it was well directed. But it’s dollar store Silence of the Lambs.

I’m Australian, it feels like most people in the country view this as a waste of time amid housing and cost of living problems. While I think something like this is needed, the terms are vague and probably not going to be that effective imo 😔
