As if public testimony would change anything anyway. They don’t listen to us.

I’m glad to see that I’m not the only one who doesn’t understand why “new” maps. Unless of course their MO is to keep this tied up in court for forever. They know they’ll lose if they didn’t cheat.

*snort* Rural Utahan here. I will not have any choices other than to vote for a Republican or not vote at all. I’m not going to pretend I understand these maps, but I am very confused about why they need to be redrawn. Weren’t they already redrawn and the legislature threw them out?

Good lort. 🤬 The man that once had at least a TINY inkling of compassion has gone full MAGA. Never go full MAGA.

@nateforutah.bsky.social One of these men was disappeared from Utah. Why? How? Why is this state allowing people who have entered legally, seeking asylum to be disappeared to a torture chamber? How do we find out WHO is allowing this?! Clearly our reps in Congress are useless. Need local contacts.

Plenty of us took it seriously. You’re right, it’s not your problem so mind your own business and maybe stop being a dick.

That’s what I’m thinking. Let them roll up like that in farm country, not the ‘burbs. They’re real likely to be met with a rifle. In my neck of the high desert, people get shot for stealing water. Migrant labor is just as valuable!

I’m wondering if that’s what this is? I cannot rely on my Plant ID app 😆

Mike Lee is a joke. There’s a whole FB group devoted to unseating him. Utah needs to put forward an opponent that has a chance of doing it. Candidates, actually. All of Utah’s reps & senators need to be unseated.

Agreed. We are certainly seeing a lot of law abiding immigrants being denied due process. I am waiting for the farmers and ranchers in Utah to realize the impact all of this will have on their livelihood.

@nateforutah.bsky.social Utah is green. Do you know what kind of agreements the state has with ICE? If not, do you know how would residents of the state find that information?

The public transportation system in Salt Lake City is safe and clean because the Utah Transit Authority employs people to clean & enforce the law, with a high level of presence. God forbid he just look around for public transit that’s working well right here in the US. Dipshit.

I didn’t take the first thing I saw as gospel. I read several different articles and they all said the same thing.

Doesn’t appear that they were sued over any of their content or claims. It has been for something else.
