Shout out to the media who participated in the most obvious misdirection ever

This situation (and others like it) takes me back to Malcolm Gladwell’s “The Tipping Point.”

The book’s premise is that often, huge events are the result of several smaller, innocent, seemingly unrelated ones. And all it takes is some small spark to “tip” them into a massive one.
